We will be updating the data plane components that have been most frequently unable to gracefully handle node restarts. As a necessary part of the update process, the components will be a subjected to a restart during this maintenance. There is a small chance that a task running or starting when this restart occurs will fail. In our internal testing, we have not seen such task failures, but they remain a possibility.
The two hour window of this maintenance represents a period of time during which clusters may be updated, but for each individual Airflow deployment, the window of potential disruption will be less than 10 minutes.
This update will be done in two batches. Your cluster may be updated in this window or the one the following week.
